Criminal Background Check Information

This office provides, at no charge to the public, viewing access to all public Davidson County criminal records during normal business hours (8:00 am - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday).   Copies of public records are also available upon request for $0.50 per page (T.C.A. § 8-21-401 (i) (4)).    We will provide a certified criminal record summary for a fee of $5.00  (T.C.A. 8-21-401(i)(5)) by request in the office or by mail.  If you would like a certified criminal record summary sent to you by mail, please include a money order or certified check for $5.00 and a self addressed stamped envelope.   Our office is located on the 2nd Floor of the Justice A. A. Birch Building (Suite 2120).
